A snapshot from a little walk by the lakes of Copenhagen the other evening... 🚶with oh so many different benefits:
👉 Fresh air in my lungs
👉 My body in movement
👉 A break from all sorts of screens
👉 A time for less things "to do" and more "simply being"

Do you remember the small breaks during the day? During the week? In between all chores and duties?

Breaks are proven good for us 👌 They are however super easy to forget 😅 and therefore also super easy to underestimate!

I admit - I am not the best myself at taking breaks during a regular work day... 😉 but when I do remember and allow myself these breaks - I feel the difference - in my mood and in my mind 😌

2024 - a new year has begun! 🎉 Whilst darkness, wind and many places also snow is currently characterising the weather all around Dk, I felt this picture taken about a week ago on the Jutlandic west coast was more fitting to illustrate the feeling of stepping into a new year...

The ending of one chapter means the beginning of a new one 📚
For me as a relatively new holistic practitioner, 2023 was one that entailed continuous learning - theoretical as well as practical! 💪🤓🧘For this I am very grateful 🙏

To mention just a few, but important highlights 💫 of my journey:

👉 I learned a new kinesiological testing method, which has become an integral part of my practice - it helps qualify my treatments and it allows me to conduct kinesiological tests when the arm test is either not possible to use or when a break may be needed 😌
👉 I expanded my holistic toolbox to also include kinesiological testing of vitamins and minerals (V+M) - this means: 1️⃣ whether there is a lack of any V+M 2️⃣ whether a specific V or M supplement can be tolerated 3️⃣ whether a specific V or M supplement blocks the body's energy system and 4️⃣ whether a specific V or M supplement can be absorbed. I look forward to integrate this new method whenever it makes sense - a method, which I have yet to perfect by means of practice 💪🙏
👉 Last but not least, and partly thanks to a client's constructive feedback, I developed a much stronger routine for planning and conducting holistic treatment sessions - a routine that specifically includes a greater attention and time spent on ensuring alignment with the clients wishes, needs and expectations.

Who knows what 2024 will bring! 🙈 For sure new challenges, perspectives, lessons to learn and opportunities to seize 💪👌

Almost there... Are you ready for the holidays? My winter has been busy - so busy that I've had to focus my energy on a few areas in order to maintain a healthy balance ⚖️

With gratitude I have already enjoyed the first couple of holidays and given in completely to just letting the days go by, forgetting which weekday we are at 😌

I hope you have found that sweet spot - either within yourself or amongst friends, family and loved ones to share an evening as well as some days of joy, happiness and love 💕 If you're not in the mood yet, there's still some time 😉

With the wind howling outside and a small moment of quiet - I feel the Christmas bliss approaching 🌬️

I have been a bit quiet here lately... and therefore I wanna shout out to say:

ALL IS GOOD 🙏😌

I keep myself busy with different master classes to continuously build on the knowledge I have gained on holistic treatment based on kinesiology 😎👍

Personally, I have worked on implementing a few different life health hacks in order to make everyday life not only easier, but nicer, healthier and happier💪👌

I'm already looking forward to autumn leaves 🍂 cuddling up under a blanket 🧦 and enjoying my newly bought books on the chemistry of emotions and hope (who couldn't use a little extra of that)? 😉

Letting go 🫳🫴🍃

For sure something that's not always easy. Did you know though, that it is in fact a spiritual practice? 🧘

I'm practicing myself because I know - and increasingly have come to understand - that I NEED to create space for something new to find its way into my life 😌

Therefore, I've been cleaning up, sorting out things in my apartment for a while - a continuous process, seemingly without no end! 🙈😅

After having dropped off many bags with things I no longer use nor need either to a recycling station, charity or at a friend's, I found a pair of paints at the recycling station - exactly my size, exactly the type I've been thinking that I've been missing! 😜 Like the universe was rewarding me for the hard work I've put into letting go lately ☀️🙏

It's such an amazing feeling! Therefore I DARE YOU to let go of things/relations that no longer serve you! 🫳🫴🍃

Der har været stille fra min side de sidste tre uger pga en dejlig, lang, tiltrængt, oplevelsesrig, energifyldt sommerferie med ☀️ og ☔, store, kulturelle storby-oplevelser og dertil stille dage i hjemmevante, familiære rammer i det vestjyske med mine kære ♥️

Har du også fået ladt batterierne op? Koblet helt fra? Sovet længe? Trukket SO-ME-stikket for en periode? Givet dig selv og dine nærmeste tid til selvkærlige handlinger?

Selvfølgelig er det ikke kun ferierne, vi skal bruge på at lade op 😉 Hverdagen skal fungere - der skal være plads til ro, restitution, eftertanke, at stoppe op og mærke rigtigt efter - også selvom det bare er fem-ti minutter i løbet af en dag - lidt men godt! 👌😌

Når det er sagt, så kan ferie nu altså noget særligt 😎 Håber således, at du har været god ved dig selv og dine nærmeste 🙏 et nyt frø af ny energi og livsvitalitet er i hvert tilfælde her blevet (selv-)sået til efterårets komme 💪💚🌱

Distance healing - too spacy for you? 😅

I've tried it a couple of times myself - first time with incredible insights, that I'm still benefitting from, now years after 🙏👌

As for this second time, I'm patiently waiting for the benefits to really manifest and settle in my body as well as in my mind ☺️🧘

The more I read and learn about energy healing, here included the emotional baggage that we all carry, the more I'm convinced that there's a HUGE potential for personal growth, improved health and peace of mind amongst others!💪♥️🌱

According to the Beatles immortal song🎼, love 💕 is all you need... 💪

The heart, I've just come to learn, is in fact the most powerful organ of our bodies 🫀did you know?

Dr Bradley Nelson teaches: "Of all the emotions, love is the most pure and has the highest vibration. Love, that most powerful and most popular of all emotions, is both generated by the heart and received by the heart".

We should thus do ourselves and each other a favour and never forget:
🫴 to really listen to our hearts 👂
🫴 to trust in the path our heart takes us 🙏
🫴 to notice and appreciate when love shows up in our life in different forms and places 🫶

I'm almost ecstatic! 🤩😎🥳🙈

Simultaneously I am equally proud, amazed and perplexed - having very quickly learned how to use a pendulum for kinesiological testing - can you believe it?! 😜💪📿

Pendulums apparently amplify the muscular and nervous system changes taking place in what Dr Bradley Nelson calls the most sensitive detecting instrument in existence: the human body 🧍🏋️🤸🧘

🧏 Intention is key when one uses a pendulum. It took me two days to get a clear "yes" and "no" and now after having played around with that, I have today found my "maybe".

I've already begun using it for the release of trapped emotions according to the method laid out in "The Emotion Code" and cannot wait to see and feel the results from this new type of energy work that I've recently come across! ♥️🙏🫶

Blå himmel, bøgeblade og fuglekvidder 👌🍃🐦‍⬛ Har du også taget dig tid til at nyde solens stråler? Mærke græsset, vandet eller sandet under fødderne? 🏞️🦶🌅

De stille øjeblikke giver for mig plads til nye som gamle ideer, til at kreativitet kan udfolde sig og til at jeg kan arbejde med mig selv og finde ro og retning 🙏😌

Særligt i naturen er det lettere at glemme hverdagen og glemme sig selv... Ens sanser stimuleres ikke kun af de naturlige lyde, men også af (nu forårets lysegrønne) farveskala🍀🌳🌿

Ifølge Imran Rashid opstår det sunde liv som en konsekvens af, at vi i tilstrækkelig grad indgår i aktiviteter, der vækker bestemte følelser - og som kan styrke vores grundlæggende følelse af et liv med menings-, betydnings- og forbundethed 🌞 Dette kalder han for positiv mærkbarhed.

Today's focus 🧐🔍 I'm learning more about the benefits from a plant-based diet 👌🥝🥦

Fun or perhaps rather alarming fact⚠️ Across Europe, data shows that 8 out of 10 people do not eat enough fruits and vegetables daily. In the US it's 9 out of 10.

👉 The reason why it's alarming is because the scientific community overwhelmingly has reached the conclusion that when eating more fruits and vegetables, we not only become healthier, but we can prevent and even reverse some chronic diseases - from heart disease to cancer to Alzheimer's and more...

In other words, definitely worth looking into! 📖📚☕

I myself have both for health and environmental reasons been working on a more plants-based diet for a while... Not there yet and don't know if I will ever go all plants-based 😅

I do strongly believe however that every step in the right direction, however small, makes a difference 💪🙏

Naturens hellige kraft...🍃🌿 en tur langs stranden eller et kig på en stjerneklar nattehimmel 🌌🌅 Det kan altså noget!

Stilhed, ro til hjernen og vind i håret. At trække stikket fra arbejde, sure pligter og hverdagens trummerum, giver os plads til at lytte bedre efter kroppens signaler. Netop det kan være svært i en travl hverdag...

👉 Derfor er det så vigtigt, at vi giver os selv den gave rent faktisk at gøre det fra tid til anden 🏝️🏞️

Så husk at lytte 👂husk at mærke efter 🙏 giv dig selv lov til at tage en eftermiddagslur, hvis det er det, du har lyst til/brug for 🤗 og husk at stille stunder på sin helt egen måde giver styrke og energi til bedre at tage vare på os selv og vore omgivelser 🥰

Spring is here! 🌱🌫️❄️🪻🌞

👉 In Cph, Denmark we have had everything from sunshine, to heavy rain and the biggest chunks of snow flakes I've ever seen in my life 😅

March this year has certainly offered a little of this and that - almost as a promise of what to expect from this entire year, come what may! 🫣 🔮🤞

The way I see it, is that I am required to work on my ability to adapt - and thereby to embrace the fact that change is inevitable... and it can be quite demanding 🙈😵‍💫

Whenever I myself feel overwhelmed, I try my best to go back to the basics, i.e.:

➡️ focus on ONE DAY at a time 🔎📅 planning way ahead is something that for me just takes too much energy.

➡️ go to bed early and thus prioritize rest 🛌being sleep-deprived has a serious impact on our ability to think and perform.

➡️ hold on to my good habits 🤝 to me that especially means meditation & qi gong 🧘plus whatever everyday "inbuilt exercise" I can manage 🚴🚶🏃

Sometimes things just drop into your life when you need it the most! 💕

A colleague of mine brought a couple of books to work to give away 🥳 I immediately stumbled over this - it contains no less than 365 doses of inspiring wisdom - one for each day for a year 👌🥰💪

Must admit, I was myself in need both of inspiration, wisdom and positive thinking 😂

👉 I know how powerful and transformative affirmations can be - seeing that it is one of the techniques I apply in my holistic treatments 🍀

Today, I find the particular affirmation especially reassuring:
☀️"I believe that what's meant for me won't pass me by"☀️

Mentale pauser 🧠 det bliver det nye sort!

Ligesom kroppen har brug for hvile, har hjernen det så sandelig også 🤯 Vi bliver jo konstant bombarderet af sanseindtryk - indre krav og ydre krav, som vi skal forsøge at balancere - og nogle gange holde på afstand 🧘🛌🛀💆

Jeg kan selv huske at få fortalt, da jeg var yngre, at det var sundt at kede sig... Hvis man har krudt i bagdelen og tankerne kører rundt, kan det dog være en udfordring at stoppe op! 😵‍💫😅

Derfor: Et par gode råd til jer derude, der gerne vil have flere mentale pauser ind i hverdagen 👇

🫴 Naturen er fænomenal til at skabe ro og kræver intet af os udover den rigtige påklædning
🫴 Selv en lille pause kan gøre en STOR forskel - så tillad dig selv at tage flere i løbet af dagen, som sidegevinst øger pauser faktisk produktiviteten
🫴 Begræns skærmtid inden sengetid - sørg gerne for at have en time til at runde dagen af evt. med et dejligt varmt bad, en guidet meditation, stille yin yoga-session eller en gang akupressur

🔎🧐Vidste du, at allergi for det meste er en kemisk fobi, hvor hjernen (fejl)fortolker et sanseindtryk som farligt? Det kunne f.eks. være pollen eller støv...

Vi ved alle, at hverken græs eller støv er farligt 😉 men fordi hjernen én gang har oplevet fare i selskab med f.eks. pollen, kan der opstå en betinget refleks - en overreaktion, der kan forringe ens livskvalitet på den ene eller anden måde, når man kommer i nærheden af/berøring med det, som hjernen tror er farligt 🤧

👉Med ALFA-kinesiologi kan man finde årsager og behandle stort set alle allergier.
