During my morning “ walk, I am watching the Virtual Global Connection (Convention). More of my reactions in future posts, but I had to pause for the cause. So I’m only on Session 1 because I keep rewinding to take notes 😂. So glad they give us until the end of Oct to view. BUT at 1:47:10 almost hopped off this treadmill! “I trust doTERRA oils because before doTERRA, I was like many people using oils that were at the store” (Audrey Saunders, NEW doTERRA Diamond). This BEAUTIFUL CREATION OF GOD was the glamour girl of my neighborhood , Maywood, IL. My next door neighbor growing up!! Yep, that next pic is me: Kindergarten School Day. If I could rewind to the day after, I was probably on her porch sitting between her legs getting my hair braided😂. I grew up old school: having your hair “down” or in “ponytails” was ONLY for special occasions until you were older😂😂. I was her for styles😂😂. One day, I’ll be walking across a doTERRA Diamond convention stage into her arms as I step off.

As I am taking my daily walk (because I am a WALK IT OFF GIRL, and those new to me and this page will come to know what that is all about), I am attending this year’s doTERRA Convention for the first time since it is virtual. I had to pause to post this testimonial which ties in to my WHY of this business. One of my Essential Oil Mentors, Brian Parker, has been on me about WHY for years. I’ve only shared some surface stuff with him until now. How timely that it is my first post on this new page that is destined to be ON JAM.

Almost 20 years ago, I got connected to a lady through someone who had never even met her, but had heard about her during a training. This trusted person told me about “a physical therapist out there in Fallon [NV] that is going to restore your arm to full range of motion”. Truly kicked my Faith-walk up a notch.

Me to Self, but out loud for her to hear: “You finna send me ta somebody you ain’t NEVA (not never) met”. Ok!!!

More of that story later. Fast forward to 2014. You will see from the pics from the Annual Keeping the Faith Breast Cancer Survivors’ Luncheon, A Celebration of Legacy & Living Legends (that I host through a non-profit org formed by me and a few friends) she “worked it out”! After years in various fields of Social Work practice, she is the one responsible for me venturing into the field of Hospital Social Work, AT THE VERY HOSPITAL WHERE SHE TREATED ME AND SHE STILL RUNS THE DEPARTMENT!!!

But last night she sent me a text message. The first 3 pics are from the 2014 Celebration. I could see my Essential Oils Mentors running my Health & Wellness Marketplace so vividly, as I had become a Wellness Advocate just 2 years prior because of them (that is Geana Parker on our first profile pic). Why? I represent breast cancer survivors because I am one.

Recently, I had the honor of sealing the documents so her daughter could get her driver’s license. “Awwww Lawd”, I thought, this peanut is DRIVING😂😂. Thank you Rene for being one of my FIRST Supporters. Why? To honor my health so I can continue being a living testimony to those who support me.

And yes, her family uses doTERRA Essential Oils.
