Morning beautiful souls!!
How are you all feeling today?
Are you feeling a bit flat, a bit low and generally unmotivated?
So let's before I continue, take a deep breath and put things into perspective.
Up here in the northern hemisphere it's winter, it's cold and not much daylight.
We are living in uncertain times. Two years of Covid and restrictions. That is a long time. Any form of enforced isolation will bring up a lot of fear and confusion. We may have developed new habits some good others not so good or healthy.
Then there is the continuous bombardment of negative news in the press and political narrative further compounding our stresses.
We are doing our best to try to maintain our sanity as we adapt to a different normal.
So please dear ones it's no surprise that you feel tired and stressed. It's time to be kind to ourselves. Time to take back control. Step out if the negative and begin to take pleasure in this amazing experience we call life.
Here are a few suggestions for you to start to get your enthusiasm back. They won't cost you anything but will make a huge difference.
1. Every morning go outside and look up to the sky, take a few deep breaths and listen to the sounds of nature.
2. Create a goal for yourself for the day and make sure you finish it.
3. Get dancing!! Or simply move. Put some music on and bop!!
4. Smile, everyone likes to be greeted with a smile.
5. Treat yourself... Have a massage, buy some flowers.
6. Take your time. Nothing is that urgent. Rome wasn't built in a day.
7. Find time for things you enjoy, chase your dreams, don't lose faith.
And lastly always find time for you, your in charge of your life, your dreams, your goals.
