Hello friends and clients, wanted to give an update on my business and practice.
I've backed away from transporting my massage table to homes, for the reason of what strenuous work it's been for the last few years. I still have a new massage chair that I was debating on selling, but am choosing to keep it so that I can still provide chair massage.
I have good days and bad days, and am being taken care of very well by the therapists at therapeutic associates in Keizer, they are terrific! I can feel my body getting stronger, but most importantly I'm learning my limits.
I've spoken to a few clients about not renewing my license this November when I'm due to renew. If I can get stronger, I'll continue my massage. However the costs of renewal plus continuing education courses are also not cheap. I realize I've been back and forth with it. So it's in the air whether or not I will renew, but as of right now I am currently licensed.
Starting next month I'll be brainstorming more spa like treatments to bring to your home that's easy on my body and relaxing on you. These are treatments that can be easily done on a massage chair.
A year ago I found a particular interest in sound therapy or "sound baths" and am interested in pursuing something to provide relaxation for people whether it be a one on one session or group session. BUT there's also this desire to pursue beauty school and study esthetics since I love skin care and some of you can vouch that I can do a very relaxing facial massage! So there's many options and routes for me in the future. I hope you're all doing well and that you'll stick with me on this journey 💘
