Venus Rising Chinese Medicine Network began as a facebook group for licensed practitioners of Chinese / East Asian Medicine who identify as female or non binary. Here in video, we spotlight some of our leaders and experts with interviews. Our collective goal is balancing the gender representati

ons of leadership in our industry. Chinese medicine attracts a majority of female patients and a majority of female practitioners, yet leadership amongst industry authors and speakers is often male dominated. We aim to raise voices to represent a more accurate and inclusive reflection of our industry and patients. Sociological and medical research demonstrates that when leadership is balanced across all genders and when women lead where they excel, that communities, healthcare systems and economic systems thrive. The world benefits when medical leadership is balanced. This time of progress is shadowed by serious global crises in healthcare, economics, community and the environment.
