💖💫Our little Solène is 3 months 💫💖

12 weeks that have flown by. Our beautiful girl is now 5.5kg and 59cm long. She is such a happy baby who started proper smiles right on 6 weeks and now laughs and babbles. Solène isn't too much of a fan of tummy time, but mumma and daddy are probably a lot more resistant to leave her on the floor with a crazy big brother around. Solène is very much a daddy's girl already and loves to snuggle up into his beard and sleep the day away, while wakes mumma up still a few too many times at night.
Such a chill and happy baby, except when mumma tries to dress her up in pretty clothes. Loving life with this gorgeous little one.

How it started... a tasty breakfast for mumma after finally getting kids sorted, bottles, breakfast, snacks...
Then how it ended...apparently Lupin needed it more...

Here we go again. Day 5 working on for suspected dairy protein allergy. We have had 8 weeks of a very unsettled baby with breathing issues, gaining weight perfectly but terrible stomach pains, vomiting eyc. At first we thought reflux, then it was just down as colic, but now we are waiting for some further investigation.

I stopped breastfeeding on day 2 this time. I suffered from with number 1 and his terrible latch and my insistence on trying to feed caused way too many issues. So this time, as soon as I realised it wasn't working I stopped.

But going on 8nweeks with little sleep, an unhappy baby and time to give it a go, especially as I had oversupply issues the first time. Fingers crossed this works.

So day 5, using my for morning, night and most day time pumps, but these handy Lil guys for the in-between to make it a bit easier with a crazy toddler and newborn. So far getting about 10-15mls per session.

Any suggestions or recommendations? I have and arriving today

DIY CHEST RUB

It’s starting to get chilly around here and you know what that means...all the dreaded lurgies!!

This year dont let Cold and Flu season have the final say! When you have a pesky runny nose that makes its way to the chest, it's time to get proactive and whip up this easy and powerful chest rub!

Consistency is key, I apply every 30 min to an hour as needed.

Tip: it's also great to pair with thieves and a calming oil of your choice in the diffuser happy breathing!
This is also great for our little ones. Half dilution for kids and quarter dilution for babies.

Ingredients:
½ cup of coconut oil
40 drops of Young Living R.C essential oil
Directions:
Melt coconut oil in a glass bowl or jar
Add the essential oil and mix thoroughly
Pour into a glass jar that can be sealed and used as needed.

Thieves Household cleaner can be used for cleaning walls, toilets, countertops, cupboards, bath tubs, showers, floors, carpets, car leather, upholstery, patio furniture, appliances, ovens, mirrors and more. Degreaser: 1 capful Thieves Household Cleaner + 1-2 cups water. For heavy cleaning, use half or quarter the amount of water. If necessary, use a cloth to apply Thieves Household Cleaner undiluted. After cleaning, wipe the area with a cloth dampened with water.

Glass and Mirror Cleaner: Combine 1 capful Thieves Household Cleaner + 5 drops Citrus Fresh™ essential oil blend + 1 teaspoon white vinegar + 3 cups water
