Many in the Medical Community are becoming more supportive of Reiki. I was shocked when I was a student of Reiki as I practiced at (the former) Lynn Union Hospital, I naively thought all hospitals must have programs for patients (this was in 1997) however that wasn’t/isn’t the case. I’ve noticed over the years, Reiki is becoming more available in hospitals. A few years ago while a friends Mom was in Wi******er (MA) hospital, I was pleased that her Dr and Nursing staff 100% supported me coming in and doing sessions. Today, I noticed a news article (which of course i can’t find now!) on WCVB Boston that spoke about Alternative Healing Services were being provided today at Mass General to demonstrate how Alternative Healing compliments traditional medicine!
Studies prove it, the medical community often supports it- why not give it a try? You’ve got nothing to lose!!!
