Hello, my name is Mike. I am a single guy, 35, who over the last couple of years has allowed my weight to get out of control. I had a career in the military and was in great shape. When I got out in 2017, I left a really structured routine and stopped doing all of the things that kept me in shape. I developed a lot of bad habits with emotional eating and lacking motivation to go out and exercise.

My name is Kirk. I’m 56 years old and live in Canyon Lake, Texas, USA. I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes in 2010. My doctor told me that it was reversible as long as I changed my diet and started an exercise program. At that time, he also prescribed 2000 milligrams of metformin per day. He suggested that I go to the American Diabetes Association (ADA) website and follow their guide for eating with type 2 diabetes. ‘I can do this! ‘, I thought.
As the years progressed, so did my diabetes.

He couldn’t believe it nor deny that this way of eating was doing exactly what it said it would. He still had his doubts as he said this way of eating was not sustainable.
My doctor has made me the poster patient! Since he and I have taken this journey together, he is now recommending Diet Doctor to his patients.

Most days, I follow an 18:6 or 16:8 intermittent fasting protocol and throw in a couple of 24-hour fasts per week. I’ve even started prepping meals for a few ladies at church. Please pandon my manner. My name is Herient I have been married to an amazing man who is soon to be retired from 20 years in the Air Force. I had 2 amazing kids and I gained 110 pounds. Two years ago I realized I wasn't losing the weight on my own. So, I have made up my mind to consulate a Doctor. I went to the doctor and found I had a Hiatal hernia, due either to my high weight increase or pregnancies. I had to have surgery to fix it. That made me get serious, I did not want it to slip and have to go through surgery again. I had available and ...... kept me from straying from my goal. I finally started to keep off the weight I was losing. →
