I’m Adriana from Sahasrara Yoga. I’m a certified yoga teacher from the Amrita Living Yoga School. Namaste

I teach Hatha yoga which refers to the yoga practice that involves the physical body. Ha means sun and it has to do with the masculine, heating and active energies and Tha means moon and it encompasses the feminine, cooling, reflective and relaxing energies. Together they are the unity of opposites. Hatha yoga involves Asanas (poses), Pranayama (breathing techniques), Pratyahara (drawing awareness within), Dharana (meditation), Dhyana (deep concentration), Samadhi (bliss, unity and the highest state of consciousness). It also touches on the Yamas, Ahimsa (compassion), Aparigraha (non attachment), Asteya (self sufficiency), Brahmacharya (moderation of energy), Satya (speaking the truth) and Niyamas, Santosha (equanimity), Swadhyaya (study), Saucha (clarity), Tapas (discipline) Ishvar-Pranidhana (trusting life and the lessons that unfold)

I teach at the Peterborough Living Yoga studio, located downtown Peterborough. The word Sahasrara means a thousand petal lotus, each petal being inherently intelligent, sensitive, aware, expanding just like the universe. Dear All,

I am offering a 6 Week Kundalini Yoga and Journaling Program to help you shift into higher levels of consciousness.

The end goal of each Kundalini Yoga practice is to help us shift into a higher level of consciousness, where we are happy, health and fulfilled.

When we practice we don’t just move, breathe or relax. We shift our energy, we change our mentality. It is from this place, that we wanna journal and bring out limitless possibilities, support and our truth.

The sessions will be via Zoom. You can join from your phone, laptop or tablet and practice indoors or outdoors.

Today is the day! 🌟Free Kundalini Yoga and Journaling session to shift into and operate from higher levels of consciousness 🌟

Dear All,

I have decided to offer a free Kundalini Yoga class and journaling so you can see what’s it like to operate from higher levels of consciousness.

What are higher levels of consciousness and how can we reach them during a kundalini yoga class?

There are various opinions on how many levels of consciousness are out there and what they are exactly. What is true for all of them, is that when we are operating from lower levels of consciousness ‘nothing works’ and when we are operating from higher levels of consciousness ‘everything works’. In the higher levels, we feel one with the Infinite and are just as limitless, wise and powerful as the Infinite is. These are the levels we wanna operate from, most of the times, so we live happy, healthy and fulfilled lives.

There are different ways in which we can reach higher levels of consciousness. One is by simply thinking ‘I am one with the Infinite’. You will feel one with the Infinite and immediately know what to do. Another one is by practicing yoga and meditation regularly. Before the practice we usually feel down, stuck, worried, etc. After the practice we feel energized, rested, grounded and overall well. This is what breath work, sound vibration, movements, relaxation, meditation, eye focus, body locks, mudras, mantras and being present does to the way we feel.

What will we be journaling about?

We will journal to clear a limiting belief. I’ll give you a common one or you can use your own.

Journaling while in a higher level of consciousness, when we feel one with the Infinite, brings out limitless possibilities, support, solutions and our truth. We want this information to come out so we can use it in our day to day life. We also wanna learn how much wisdom lies within us and how this can be a guide in life.

I would like everyone who resonates with this to join.
