Do you want to improve on your habit-building journey and be able to stick to the plan?

Here are tips to put in mind 👇

-The perfect time to start building the right habit is NOW

- Start with the available resources you have.

-Don't set too many goals at once so you don't get overwhelmed and chicken out.

-Focus on the journey, and the daily habits you need to make to achieve your goals.

-Don't be obsessed with the destination so you don't get tired early and give up.

-Focus on making the small sustainable shift that you. can do consistently.

-Make changes to your environment. For instance, set up your study desk if you want to study more, create your home workout spot if you can't go to the gym yet, and buy healthy food items in bulk. You will be encouraged to start when you put things in place.

-When you miss a step, find a solution instead of giving up.

A habit is a continuous lifestyle you have to live. You must keep going until it becomes part of you.

Sleep is essential for optimal cognitive function and physical health.

A consistent poor sleep routine will hinder your daily performance, and productivity and have a negative influence on your physical and mental health.

Improving your sleep quality requires simple habits and discipline. You have to cut off the habits that get in the way of your bedtime and ability to fall asleep easily.

Some steps to getting better sleep include;

📌 Schedule a specific time for your sleep and wake-up period.

📌 Have a bedtime routine that helps you relax and help you fall asleep easily.

📌 Reserve official work for office hours and avoid spilling work for bedtime.

📌 Be disciplined and intentional about improving your sleep. You are not going bad to habits you are trying to stop.

This rule allows you to eat your favorite treats in moderate portions, 20% of the time while you eat nutritious meals and water at 80%

It is preferable to maintain this rule daily instead of starving yourself all through the week and going overboard on weekends with treats.

It is a great tool if you are on a weight loss mission or you are trying to watch your diet.

We live in a world where we have loads of things to do and tasks to execute.

But when you go head-on without proper planning, you get overly stressed and burn out faster.

When you burn out, everything suffers, and your productivity declines.

To improve your productivity without pushing yourself harder than necessary, here are some effective tips to put into action.

✅ Have weekly goals and a daily to-do that helps you meet your goal by the weekend.

✅ Don't miss breakfast! You need fuel to be at your best.

✅ Schedule your most important tasks for when you are most productive. It helps you get to the other tasks in a more relaxed manner.

✅ Turn on DND when you work or put your phone away to avoid distractions.

✅ Do the work! Be disciplined.

✅ Delegate tasks when applicable. You don't have to do it all if you can't.

✅ Don't forget to take breaks.

If you find it difficult to focus on work or you are easily distracted, consider using the Pomodoro Technique to boost productivity and increase your output. ✍️

Here is the rule;

-Pick a task from your list of priorities.
-Set the timer to 25 minutes.
-Do some deep work till the timer beeps
-Repeat cycle 4 times
-Take a longer break after

Do this every day and see how your productivity increases.
