2016 was truly something else!
But that was then, this is now. I've learned so much about myself that really solidified who I am today.
I have always been athletic and "healthy" but things weren't changing. I was troubled with gut issues that went undiagnosed, but dismissed. I was a runner. I had to be careful of how I fueled my body so I didn't die on the course with no bathroom. That's not normal.
Seeking help so I could do crazy things with my body was a priority. I was rasing 2 incredible kids alone, going to practices at all hours, dinner was at times on the go either packed or drive thru. I was running up to 7 half marathons a year along with races and mud runs in between. And so much travel. We also went to Canada in 2016. There was no time to be held back digestive issues.
I sought out professionals. I even went into yhr functional space and found the most relief, but still didnt get to the WHY I was having these struggles.
If I couldn't get to the WHY, I can't get to the HOW.
Fast forward to 2020, I went back to school to learn more about nutrition and gut health.
The WHY is now the new normal answer to labs I run on clients. Not "everything is normal"; it's given clients the WHY they're having these digestive issues and we work on the HOW - together.
