🌿🏃‍♀️ This past month, I had the incredible privilege of returning to my home province to run in the Addo Trail Ultra Marathon, and it was an experience unlike any other! The rugged beauty of the terrain, coupled with the challenge of the trails, made every step a reminder of the stunning landscapes and rich wildlife that make our country so special. 🦒🌄

To share a piece of this journey with you, I've created a special Pilates workout focused on mobility and flexibility. This workout is not just about exercise; it's about preparing your body for success out on the trails, helping to prevent injury and ensure you're ready for whatever the trails may bring. I know this is not the conventional type of Pilates workout post. Don't worry- we have some exciting new pilates content coming soon 😉.

BUT, back to the purpose of this post🍋.

So those of you who know me really well will know that I have always had such a big heart for marginalized communities.

It has been a constant struggle to discern how to play my part as a member of this Durban community when it comes to bridging the gap between those who have been born into a world of abundance and opportunity and those who have not.

It really can be tough trying to make sense of this unfair world. Today, I want to stop asking questions and finally start doing something about it. This is something that I have been meaning to do for a long time now, and I have finally decided to step into this exciting space.

We have decided to start selling these, elegant African skirts again. These skirts are locally made by a beautiful lady and seamstress, Love. This talented mother of 6, works hard every day to support her family.

Love and I have decided to partner together in building this business with the hope to empower more women in the Durban community through job creation.

We currently have 1 style; This gorgeous wrap-round skirt which is custom-made to fit your unique body type. The skirt can be made to full length or three-quarters to fit your preference.

Monday: 6:00-7:00am
Wednesday: 6:00-7:00 am
Friday: 5:30-6:30am

Cost:
Pre-book: R120/ Class
Walk-in: R130/ Class
Monthly: R1100/month - Unlimited

Moms and Tots Pilates classes (R130/class | R1100/month unlimited):
Tuesday:1:00-2:00 pm
Thursday: 1:00-2:00 pm

Cancelations:
Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to make the class.

Please bring a towel and water bottle to your sessions.

I am so excited for a weekend away running in the mountains🌄. If I could spend all my time running through the trails, I would, but I have learned (the hard way) that spending time on your flexibility and mobility is just as important as getting the mileage in.
