Day by Day Living Day By Day Living is website dedicated to healthy living for everyone from 2 to 102+. Barbara Day, MS, RD, is the Chief Head Organizer for Day by Day Living.

Collaborative bloggers consist of Registered Dietitians, Certified Nutritionists, Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physical Therapists and other vetted professionals. She is a registered dietitian with a master's in Clinical Nutrition. She worked as a Program Reviewer for Child Nutrition Programs for the Alaska Department of Education in INDIAN & ESKIMO VILLAGES on the North Slope of Alaska. Barbara also worked as a research nutritionist with the military’s tri-service medical school, Uniformed Services of the Health Sciences, at the Human Performance Laboratory where she did trace mineral, vitamin and macronutrient research with active military members to include the Navy SEALS’ BUD/S Training Program and active Navy SEAL Teams in Coronado Island, California. Barbara is the former nutrition performance consultant to the University of Louisville Athletic Department (10 years) and the United States Navy SEALs (8 years). She is the author of Fast Facts on Fast Food For Fast People and High Energy Eating Sports Nutrition Workbook for Active People. Barbara’s books and materials have been used by the University of Louisville, University of Tennessee Lady Vols and the Tennessee football program, the LSU basketball program, the Buffalo Bills, the Cleveland Browns and by the United States SEALs. Barbara’s weekly health & fitness radio show, Health News You Can Use, on WKJK 1080 AM, iHeart Media, had been heard locally for 14 years. Barbara had a regular TV segment on WHAS’s Louisville Tonight Live for 5 years and WAVE Sunrise for 4 years. Barbara wrote a weekly nutrition column for her Christian Church’s Southeast Outlook for 10 yrs. She has designed and presented employee wellness programs to small and large businesses like UPS, Anthem, Humana, LG&E, Fort Knox, PNC Bank, Jewish Hospital, Louisville Water Company, Ford, Brown Foreman, and many more. Barbara is currently working with Veterans Lodge on the Fundraising Committee and also does social media for Veterans Lodge. Barbara is writing a cookbook-performance nutrition book, Veterans Lodge Performance Nutrition and Recipe Guidebook, as a fundraiser for Veterans Lodge and to be used by Veterans Lodge for Veterans seeking health care & job retraining.
