Three cards from the general area. I have a big pile of "London-ish", some may say some are infact not London, who knows, but they're close enough.

• Mr Turner, Hill
• Mrs Clarke?*,
• Edward H Mashell, Green

Just a quick message to say we welcome anyone who wishes to research or provide some insight for a card; just get stuck in however you like.

You're welcome to share posts wherever you like, I actively encourage it even, especially to local groups as we're more likely to reach the family and friends.

Any questions, feel free to drop me a message.

Enjoy the sun (but not too much!) and have a great day 🙂

How it began.

I have always dabbled a bit in vintage post cards and have recently started building my own family tree. In my postcard hobby, I realised that it would be great if we could match up identifiable postcards to the descendants of the recipient or even sender. Re-homing postcards, if you like. Imagine if you found a postcard from your great grandad to your great grandmother, in his writing? Postcards can tell you a lot about a person. They are a tangible link to your ancestors.

In a way this is a business, as I sell the postcards cheaply to interested bodies. However, the main personal benefit, comes from the possibility of re-uniting orphaned postcards with their family.
