Reactivation of Hypertension and DM Club and TB Task Force

"High blood pressure (hypertension) can lead to many complications of diabetes, including diabetic eye disease and kidney disease, or make them worse. Most people with diabetes will eventually have high blood pressure, along with other heart and circulation problems."

Our advocacy is to decrease the non-communicable diseases that cost lives and to encourage healthy lifestyle to constituents. Early detection of these disease and maintenance of medications will help to eradicate this lifestyle diseases. We are thankful to our resource speakers from City Health Office-Iriga, Sir Victor V. Cervas, Non-Communicable Disease Coordinator and Ma'am Lyni S. Lopez, National Tuberculosis Program Coordinator for also discussing all about Tuberculosis.

We would also like to congratulate our Newly-elected "Sweet and Heart Club" Officers and New Focal Pointperson of TB Task Force.

San Francisco, Iriga City headed by Punong Barangay Marc Jhames R. Temeña and Council would like to express their gratitude to City Health Office-Iriga Vaccination Team led by Dra. Cindy Melissa Tagomata-Villareal, CHO/DOH nurses and midwives, BHW's, BNS, BSPO, and tanods, Sangguniang Kabataan and PYAP.
Our activity was successful with the total of 156 Jabs done 💉 61 individuals- 1st dose, 22 individuals- 2nd dose and 73 individuals- Booster Dose.
COVID Vaccines are safe, effective, and lifesaving. Let’s get VACCINATED! 💉

August is the National Family Planning Month. The theme for this year is "Usap Tayo sa Family Planning Atbp."

The “Usap Tayo sa Family Planning” primarily tackles information on various topics and concerns of couples, women and men who would want to plan their families through proper spacing of pregnancies or to limit their number of children according to the demands of parenthood and responsible parenting. Topics also include discussions that debunk myths and misconceptions on family planning and reproductive health matters, Teenage pregnancy and Nutrition among women and children.

We would like to extend our warmest gratitude to our Guest Speakers from City Health Office - Iriga, Ma'am Aileth Delos Santos, AHDP Coordinator, From POPCOM Ma'am Merly G. Yanto, and from Nutrition Office, Ma'am Rosa Jeannie P. Bolivar.

This Activity became successful through the initiative of our Punong Barangay Marc Jhames R. Temeña and Council, Kagawad on Health Malyn Mora, Assigned Nurse and Midwife, BSPO, BHW's, BNS and Tanods. Thank you to 18 attendees from different zone of San Francisco.
