Tell the NOSB (National Organic Standards Board) to add PFAS to the list of substances prohibited in organic production to prevent PFAS from getting into organic kale and other organic foods... and to address other important issues related to organics. PFAS can get into our kale and other foods when plastic mulch containing PFAS is used by growers. And also during processing on equipment cleaned or lubricated with a substance containing PFAS chemicals, or when organics are bottled inside HDPE plastic containers that are lined with PFAS. We have 6 other concerns to share with the NOSB for this semi-annual public meeting.
