🌟 New Blog Post: Let’s Talk About AuDHD 🌟
You may have heard the term AuDHD floating around online. It isn’t an official diagnosis, but it’s a word that many people use to describe living with both autism (ASD) and ADHD.
These two often go hand-in-hand:
✨ Up to 80% of autistic individuals also meet criteria for ADHD
✨ Up to 50% of people with ADHD also meet criteria for autism
For some, learning about AuDHD feels like finally finding the “missing puzzle piece” that explains a lifetime of experiences—whether that’s social challenges, sensory sensitivities, focus struggles, or deep passions and interests.
As a psychiatrist, I see every day how validating it can be for people to understand themselves through this lens.
