At Flourish, we prioritize both the comfort and safety of our clients. One of the ways we achieve this is through intermittent monitoring. This method involves periodically checking the baby’s heart rate during labor to ensure everything is progressing smoothly. We use a handheld Doppler device to listen to the baby’s heartbeat at regular intervals. This approach allows mothers to move freely and labor in various positions, promoting a natural birthing experience while still closely monitoring the baby’s well-being.
