I wanted to take this opportunity to share my lupus journey.

Navigating through my own lupus struggle at home, my heart is firmly with my friends—Palestinian and Jewish alike—amidst this unbearable tragedy.

Every life, especially those of innocent children, lost to this conflict pains me deeply. My visits to the Gaza Strip have opened my eyes to the heartbreaking Palestinian plight under occupation, a pain I carry daily. Equally, I express unwavering clarity: my aspirations for Palestinians never encompass harming Jewish individuals. Terrorizing innocents undermines the 'Free Palestine' movement and perpetuates a harmful, decades-long retaliatory cycle, falsely conflating pro-Palestine stances with antisemitism.

In sharing condolences with loved ones in Israel, both Palestinian and Jewish, I send love and strength to all in pain, wherever you are.

All humans, regardless of nationality, religion, or ethnicity, deserve fundamental rights and security. While words may fall short, my constant prayers are for the safety of all innocent lives.
