**The Importance of Living a Happy,
Hello Friends 🖐️
I wanted to share this with you this is why I changed how I lived several years ago... I hope you get something from this

Healthy Lifestyle**

Living a happy, healthy lifestyle is more than a trend—it's a commitment to a better quality of life. Here’s why you should embrace it:

1. **Boosts Physical Health**: Regular exercise, balanced nutrition, and good sleep habits improve your body’s strength and resilience. A healthy body reduces the risk of chronic illnesses like diabetes, heart disease, and obesity, helping you feel energized and capable.

2. **Enhances Mental Well-being**: A happy lifestyle often includes mindfulness, hobbies, and time with loved ones. These activities release endorphins, reduce stress, and combat anxiety and depression, fostering a positive outlook.

3. **Increases Longevity**: Healthy habits, such as staying active and eating nutritious meals, can add years to your life while also ensuring those years are vibrant and fulfilling.

4. **Improves Relationships**: When you’re happy and healthy, your positivity radiates, strengthening your connections with family, friends, and colleagues.

5. **Empowers Productivity**: Feeling good physically and mentally allows you to focus better and achieve your goals more effectively.

Living a happy, healthy lifestyle doesn’t require perfection—just consistent effort. Small changes like a daily walk, cooking fresh meals, or practicing gratitude can make a significant difference. By prioritizing your well-being, you’re investing in a brighter, more fulfilling future. Start today—you’re worth it!

Living Active, Living Healthy!!!!

**Here's something to think about***

Time-wasting habits you need to break

Being unintentional with your time

The first step to using your time better is knowing how you’re spending it now. For a few days, or ideally a week, write down what you’re doing, as often as you remember. Think of yourself as a lawyer billing your time to different projects.

That’s the raw data. Start analyzing and categorizing time spent. How does this feel to you? What do you over- or under-invest in? What do you like most about your schedule? What would you like to change?”

Hello Friends. 👋 Here's a New one for you...

Steps to laughing alone exercises
Breathing into the lungs

-Breathing into the upper lobe - the lungs have three lobes. This exercise will bring more air to the upper lobe. Place your hands between your shoulder blades with the palms facing outward. Take a deep breath, hold for three to four seconds and laugh. Repeat thrice.
-Breathing into the middle lobe - join both your palms and stretch them above your head until your arms are straight. This is called the mountain posture in yoga. Take a deep breath, hold it for three to four seconds and laugh. This will oxygenate your middle lobes. Repeat thrice.
-Breathing into the lower lobe - hold your hands out like a lion’s paws. Take a deep breath, hold it for three to four seconds and then stick your tongue out and laugh from your belly.
This will help bring more air into the lower lobe. Repeat three times...

There you go.... Live Healthy..... 🖐️♥️

Hello Friends 👋

One of the biggest issues to overcome when deciding to change your lifestyle is Bad Habits.. so, I wanted to share this..

Simple ways to break your bad habits
Substituting good habits

As long as you continue to experience the same cues, your brain will react with the same old routines that have been holding you back. So, once you’ve identified the habits you want to eliminate, and made it more difficult to engage in them, it’s time to find alternative habits to replace them.

If your routine is to eat a donut every afternoon, try placing a bowl of fresh fruit on the counter instead. Or, if you really need that sugar rush, walk down the street to a nearby coffee shop instead of the office kitchen. For bonus points, take the stairs instead of the elevator. You’re not cutting out the habit completely, but you’re making small changes that can add up to big wins over time.

The 12-step habit replacement program AA aka Alcoholics Anonymous recognizes that the stresses of life don’t disappear when a person quits drinking. Instead, it encourages them to replace the habit of drinking with sharing their feelings in regular meetings.

- Create a table of the habits you want to change. Beside each one, list the ‘good’ habits you’ve decided to replace them with. For example, next to “Eat a donut at 3 p.m.” you could write “Eat an apple” or “Do 10 jumping jacks.”

- Build a support group of friends and family and share your notes with them. This helps keep you accountable, and gives them a chance to encourage your efforts.

Hello Friends 👋

Here is that recipe...

Japanese eggplant recipe with a tomato, olive and feta relish

Ingredients:
- 4 small Japanese eggplants
- 1/4 cup olive oil, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 dry pint of cherry tomatoes, quartered (about 10 ounces)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon minced shallot
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh herbs (such as basil, oregano, tarragon or a combination)
- 1 tablespoon chopped kalamata olives
- 1 tablespoon crumbled feta cheese
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

Preparation:
- Prepare the eggplant
Start by removing the stem end and slicing each eggplant in half lengthwise. Rub the cut ends with 2 tablespoons of the olive oil. Sprinkle the kosher salt on top and set aside.

- Make the relish
Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the quartered tomatoes with the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil, garlic, shallot, herbs, olives, feta cheese, and red wine vinegar. Cover the mixture with plastic wrap and store it in the refrigerator until you’re ready to serve.

You can make this relish a day or two in advance, if you like. A night in the fridge lets the flavors come together, deepening the briny, tangy flavor profile.
- Grill ’em up
Meanwhile, prepare a gas or charcoal grill for high heat. Grill the eggplant cut-side down for 4 minutes. If you’re going for presentation, feel free to rotate the eggplant 45 degrees halfway through to get cross-hatch grill marks. Then, flip the eggplant over and cook it for an additional 3 minutes, until the flesh is soft and tender.

- Garnish and serve
Spoon the tomato-feta relish over the eggplant halves and serve immediately. You can also turn the eggplant into a hearty main by slicing it into 1-inch pieces. Toss the slices with the relish and serve them over a bed of arugula, tossed with cooked pasta or as a topping for your favorite grain bowl.

Yield: 4 servings as an appetizer, or 2 servings as a main

Let me know if any of you try this... 🤚❤️

Hello Friends!! 👋

I have a recipe for Everyone...

I am curious, I'm sure some or most of you have heard of
A Japanese eggplant?

No worries...
A Japanese eggplant looks like a skinnier, leaner version of the eggplant you grew up with.

It’s a member of the nightshade family along with potatoes, peppers and tomatoes.

Like tomatoes, they’re technically a fruit.
Since they’re smaller than purple globe eggplants, you’ll need about one per person for an appetizer or two per person for a main.
When shopping for Japanese eggplants, look for firm, blemish-free eggplants with a shiny surface.

They’ll keep in the crisper bin of the refrigerator for up to a week, but taste best if you consume them within a day or two.

When you’re ready to eat, don’t bother peeling the skins or salting them to pull out the bitterness as neither preparation is necessary for this variety.

I have a recipe for the Japanese eggplant..

I'm going to share it soon...

Stay Happy and Healthy!!!👋🫶🧘‍♀️
