Same f***y pack, different waistline 😉. A lot of things are said about life after 40. That you’re “over the hill,” 👵🏻 so you might as well just settle in for the slump that happens in the 2nd half of your life. If you’re not careful, you might start believing it. 🤔
I’m here to tell ya, there are definitely barriers to finding fitness in this stage of life, but that only means you’ll have to dig a little deeper to get where you want to go. 💪🏻🏃🏼♀️
To this point, there has been 0️⃣ down side to this journey. I have more energy, I sleep better, I’m able to manage my stress levels more efficiently, my skin is clearer, my anxiety is all but gone, I move easier, I recover from illness quicker, my blood sugar is down, my cholesterol is back in the normal range, I no longer suffer from chronic inflammation, and the list just keeps growing. 🗒️
Your health is an investment, not an expense. 💵 I could spend money on a gym membership, or I could spend it on heart surgery, diabetes medication, etc. Either way, there is a cost for the choices we make.
All I know is… the rest of my life is gonna be the BEST of my life. Invest wisely, friends. In every area of your life. Quality matters.
