We only wished we had this when we were admitted in Edmonton! but fortunately we are now able to help other families!

Support Saskatchewan Squeeze for Life—Sponsor or Donate Supplies!

Hello everyone!

I’m reaching out from the Saskatchewan Committee of the Move for Life Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting transplant families across Saskatchewan. We’re hosting the Saskatchewan Squeeze for Life from June 20 to August 30, 2025—a flexible, community-driven lemonade stand event where participants can choose their own dates within the summer timeframe to set up stands in their local towns. This extended timeframe allows participants to pick a date that works best for their schedule, accommodating families, out-of-town visitors, and community events. By setting up stands in their local towns, participants can leverage their community connections to maximize impact, ensuring inclusivity across rural areas and cities like Regina and Saskatoon.

Participants will sell 12oz cups of lemonade for $2 each and offer a QR code for digital donations to the Saskatchewan Transplant Family Grant, which covers out-of-province expenses (e.g., travel, lodging, meals) for Saskatchewan transplant families seeking life-saving treatments and follow-up care in cities like Edmonton or Toronto. They can also collect cash, which will be donated after the event via our website at https://www.moveforlife.com/donate.
All proceeds will support transplant families in focusing on healing rather than financial stress. You can learn more about the Saskatchewan Transplant Family Grant here [https://www.moveforlifefoundation.com/sk-grant].

We’re seeking support from businesses like yours in two ways to make this event a success:

In-Kind Donations of Supplies: We need lemonade mix (enough to make 2.5 gallons, suitable for large Gatorade containers used by sports teams) and disposable 12oz cups (50–100 per stand) to help our participants set up their stands.
Monetary Sponsorship: A contribution of $100, $250, or $500 would help cover the cost of supplies like lemonade mix, cups, and signage, ensuring more funds go directly to our cause.
In return for either type of support, we’re pleased to offer the following recognition:

Your business name or logo featured on our social media channels (.for.life.foundation), reaching thousands of Saskatchewan residents and our Canada-wide platform.
Prominent acknowledgment on signage at community stands in [specific locations, e.g., Regina, Saskatoon, or your community] throughout the summer.
A heartfelt thank-you in our Move for Life Newsletter, celebrating your commitment to making a difference.
If you’d like specific sponsorship features, please email communications@moveforlifefoundation.com to discuss. This is a great opportunity to connect with Saskatchewan families and visitors, showcase your support for a meaningful cause, and enhance your community presence over the summer.

If the Saskatchewan Squeeze for Life does not align with your company’s mission and goals, we are also hosting a Walk n’ Talk event throughout Canada in the fall. This event may align better with your mission, and we’d be happy to discuss sponsorship opportunities for it—please email communications@moveforlifefoundation.com for more details.

Can we count on your support for the Squeeze for Life? Please let us know by May 25, 2025, if you’re able to donate supplies or sponsor the event. You can reply to this email at communications@moveforlifefoundation.com. someone would be happy to discuss sponsorship levels, benefits, or supply contributions in more detail.

Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a refreshing difference for transplant families. We look forward to partnering with you!

Hey friends! we are so lucky to be apart of such a wonderful cause ! Unfortunately this was started up after our time with B's transplant out of province. But now we can help other families who are going through what we did 3 years ago đź’š.

there were other kids in the video so I couldn't post the whole video! But Briar had her parent watch night last night for gymnastics ! her FIRST time jumping and landing on her feet other than on a trampoline! she did awesome summersaults ! I'm so thankful everyday for her transplant to keep her going so we can have moments like this đź’š

well, it's been a rough week.. b hasn't made it to school at all this December and probably won't she was hospitalized for 4 days with behing dehydrated from her getting sick.. thankfully that sorted itself out after pushing iv fluids through her and 100% of her calories are via tube.. Next will be working her down on her feeds again avoiding sickness as much as we can and get her eating again.

thank you all for keeping us in your prayers we appreciate it . đź’š

Well, B is not having fevers, numbers are still up and no eating .. we are currently back to 100% formula feeding via NG tube.. hoping she bounces back with energy or we will be making our way to the city for a stay at the hospital... it makes me so upset because this all could have been avoided if kids didn't get sent anywhere while sick... started from am cold turned into a chest infection, placed on iv antibiotics now she will not eat since she's been sick... it hurts my heart just seeing her in such a fragile state. please please keep her and my family in your prayers. It's been a rough one compared to the last year..
