Good morning Dennis-Yarmouth!

The REACH Mobile Unit will be out this morning at the following locations;

Yarmouth Comprehensive Treatment Center- 7am to 10am
Dennis Union Church 10:15am-11:15am

Team members will also be at the Yarmouth Substance Awareness Committee Drop-in Night in the Leonard Room at the South Yarmouth Library from 5-7pm.

The REACH Mobile Unit will not be in Mashpee on 2/23/24 but will plan on serving the community on 3/1.

Great news Mashpee, the REACH Mobile Unit is partnering with One Shared Spirit 501c3 Peer to Peer Recovery Support!

Starting today, we will be at One Shared weekly from 1230pm-130pm. Below is the complete schedule

9am-12pm Mashpee Public Library
1230pm-130pm One Shared Spirit
2pm-3pm Wendy's on Rt.28

****SCHEDULE UPDATE****

Due to the incoming storm on 2/13/24, the REACH Mobile Unit will be canceling their scheduled time at Saint Barnabas's Episcopal Church. We will look forward to getting back out to Falmouth next week.

Are you in need of a winter jacket? The REACH Mobile unit will be in Mashpee tomorrow, 2/2/24, providing free jackets to the community. At this time the REACH team has 30 women's jackets as well as 10 men's jackets.

Our REACH Mobile Unit will be at the Mashpee Public Library from 9am-12pm, we look forward to seeing you!

We are excited to be attending the Upper Cape Cod Alternative Gift Market at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, Falmouth. Duffy Health Center has been present with the REACH Mobile Unit.

It's hard to believe that November has begun and that colder weather is upon us.

As temperatures begin to drop, The REACH Mobile Unit will continue our services into the cold weather seasons. Although we will continue to provide our services and supports, we will be pausing our shower program, starting 11/10, until the beginning of April. This will not affect access to harm reduction resources, skilled staff members, and access to medications for opioid use disorder.

We will continue to provide showers internally at Duffy, and will work with community partners to provide this resource to all of the towns we serve. We will look forward to reopening our mobile showers once weather warms up and we are not at risk of our pipes freezing.

We are excited to announce that the Mashpee Public Library has become our newest host site for our mobile unit!

Starting today, we will be located at the library from 12pm-2pm, before heading to Wendys in Mashpee until 4pm.

We are blessed to share a community with HAC as well as our additional community partners, working together to end homelessness on Cape Cod!
