As we celebrate the retirement of Stephen Mainini, MD, we want to clearly reassure our community:

Wound Care Services at Cody Regional Health are NOT going away.

Dr. Mainini helped build a strong, trusted Wound Care program—one designed for continuity, teamwork, and long-term service to our community. We are proud to carry that foundation forward with a dedicated clinical team and a clear plan for the future.

Our Wound Care Clinic remains fully operational and is led by Linsea Ford, DO and Connor Deal, MD, who are committed to continuing high-quality, compassionate wound care close to home.

Over the past few months, local middle school students have been visiting different departments across Cody Regional Health every Friday—spending time with our teams and getting a behind-the-scenes look at how our healthcare system works!

From patient scheduling to rehabilitation services, these students explored a wide range of careers and learned firsthand what it takes to care for our community. Their curiosity, energy, and willingness to dive in made this Classroom to Careers experience something truly special.

We can’t thank these students and Taylor Hensen enough for joining us on this journey—and we hope to see some of you back at CRH one day as future healthcare professionals! 💙✨

Our residents and team are absolutely loving the added sparkle and joy throughout the halls. These trees bring warmth, comfort, and a sense of home during a season that means so much to so many.

We are grateful for the generosity, creativity, and community spirit that make moments like this possible. ✨

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated basic essentials for Holiday Helpers this year! ❤️
Our team dropped off a car full of items at their new location: 1902 E. Sheridan in Cody—and they are already helping stock shelves for families in need.

If you’re still able to give, Holiday Helpers is especially in need of toilet paper, razors, soap, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, and other daily essentials.

A small item for us can make a world of difference for a local family.

🇺🇸 Honoring Service — On the Front Lines and Beyond 🇺🇸

Today, on Veterans Day, Cody Regional Health was honored to welcome Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon as he toured our EMS Bay, Emergency Department, and Big Horn Basin Cancer Center.

It was a privilege to share how our dedicated teams serve this community every day — from responding to emergencies across thousands of square miles to providing compassionate care for those fighting some of life’s toughest battles.

As we reflect on this day, we extend our deepest gratitude to all veterans and active service members. Your courage, sacrifice, and commitment inspire everything we do.

Thank you, Governor Gordon, for visiting and helping us honor the men and women — both in uniform and in healthcare — who stand ready to serve when duty calls. 💙❤️🤍
