On the evening of Monday October 1st the petition below, now with over 300 signatures was sent to all members of the ICA Board of Directors with a request that the questions be answered within 7 business days. That deadline has passed. This began because many in the membership were concerned about the ICA’s refusal to oppose the ACA Medicare bill. The list grew because during the process there were many issues that came to light that need to be addressed to the concerned members and profession. We all know that the largest group in Chiropractic is the non-member, some of them were at one time members and some are potential future members. Our desire would be for the chiropractic profession as a whole to be represented in a manner congruent with the principles laid out by our founding father of the ICA, Dr. BJ Palmer. However, we present these questions now not only to our membership, but to our profession because we would like everyone to know where we stand. There is not question, that there will be some, maybe many, who condemn this as infighting, but we hope that most will see this for what it is, our concern about the direction of the present leadership of the ICA. important questions that the ICA leadership should address for the good of the organization, and most importantly for the good of the principle that we feel charged to guard.
