2 years into the journey and this is what I look underneath the clothes. I have accepted the fact that I can’t do anything with my loose skin unless I undergo surgery. The process of building muscles to fill the loose skin is slow and very demanding. You have to continuously grind. Still, little progress is still progress. Can’t say that I never got depressed since someone asked about it. You just have to find a way to self-motivate like looking at your old pics and comparing it to the new you. 👍

“You can’t cheat the grind. It knows how much you’ve invested. It won’t give you anything you haven’t worked for.”

When I lost 110 lbs, I was very worried about my loose skin that I decided to lift. And after more than a year this is what I have become. The process was slow and progress was little. Got discouraged a lot of times but qutting was never an option. Now, it’s time to cut.

(Hope this post will inspire another to start their own journey.)

I’m now on the 3rd phase of my fitness journey. 1st phase was losing weight, 2nd was gaining muscles and now, the cutting phase. Anyway, mon amour joined a push up challenge for June so i decided to join her and do a challenge myself: 50 push ups, 30 ab rollers and 6 minutes side planks every night. I hope I can survive this 😅. Bitaw, will grind now and shine later đŸ€™

My journey to fitness was hard. Believe me when I tell you that I even doubted myself many times. I failed my diet. Got lazy and almost quit. What made me push through was my kids. Seeing them every waking day makes me realize that I have another opportunity to better myself. If there is something we can control it would be our health and I would love to change everything so I can live longer. It was also through the support of my family, friends and everyone else that I got this far.

Losing weight is hard, much more during the pandemic. You have to keep your motivation up, be consistent and committed to push through. Just don’t give.
