The holiday season is my favorite time of year and it seemed like the perfect time for a break from social media.

I’ve been enjoying lots of family time and quality time with my little guy before we become a family of 4.

I’ll see y’all in the new year. Wish me luck adjusting to being mom of 2 đŸ˜±

In the meantime catch me on stories to see how I prioritize my wellness and self care in my 3rd & 4th trimester!

I would workout but I feel guilty leaving the kids with someone else

I would meal prep but I feel guilty spending a couple hours in the kitchen instead of with my family

I would read more but I feel guilty not spending time with my kids

Moms would do a lot more for ourselves if we could figure out how to without feeling the always present MOM GUILT.

Without worrying if someone is judging you and mom shaming you

Finding time to become the happiest and healthiest version of yourself WITHOUT MOM GUILT is exactly what I teach you in my FREE mini series Nourished Mom Life 101

I know how it usually goes

I’ll workout after the kids are in bed

I’ll read before I go to sleep

I’ll watch a little TV after I finish the laundry

I’ll grab myself some lunch after I get them settled with theirs

Then what happens?

You’re too tired

The kids wake up from their nap early

They need more ketchup or milk or the “right” color plate

And you never get to what you had planned

You put yourself on the back burner while you show up for everyone else

What if it didn’t have to be like that?

What if you could do it all?

Sounds too good to be true, but it isn’t

It’s all about making your self care fit seamlessly into your family’s schedule

That’s exactly the strategies I show you in Nourished Mom Life 101

Show you how to go through the ins and outs of your schedule

Everything from extracurriculars to your grocery shopping to your partner’s work schedule

Then how to use my Triple S Philosophy: Slow, Steady & Sustainable to drop in everything you need to do to be checking off your goals (and your to-do list) right and left

If you’re ready to figure out what “healthy” looks like with a mile long to-do list, đŸš«free time & the mental đŸ˜€ from being the default parent without MOM GUILT, DM me MINI SERIES for instant access to this free resource!

If not, comment below what you’re doing for yourself this week so we can cheer you on in the comments!

Raise your hand if you were a kid of the 90’s that had to eat it or starve.

Or got stuck sitting at the table forced to finish cold soggy broccoli

Thankfully moms have moved on and giving your kids safe foods at mealtime is the norm

But what I’m noticing is we take it too far.

We’re so worried about what our kids are eating, that when it comes time to feed ourselves, there is no energy or brain power left to make something that’ll serve your goals and nourish your body.

What if instead, you made a meal with your own nutritional needs and preferences in mind and then kid-a-fied it for your littles?

Hack 1: dip it . . . dip it real good

Cheese for cooked veggies

Ketchup for meat . . . and anything else really

Ranch for raw veggies

Adding your kiddo’s favorite topping to something you wanna eat is such a SIMPLE swap to not always be stuck eating kid food . . . as much as we love dino nuggies

Hack 2: serve the meal deconstructed

On taco night, serve them all the fixings separately or let them build their own taco.

Idk about you but I’d rather have a cleared plate with piles of food than have him only eat two bites of taco before it goes on the floor to the dog

Hack 3: involve them in the prep

When kids take ownership over a task, it makes them more invested.

There’s an age appropriate way to do this with any kid.

My one year old was putting potato chunks in the air fryer and shaking garlic on them

My two year old and I cut zucchini together and he puts them in the steamer basket.
He helps me shake spices on chicken.

He puts our toast in the toaster for breakfast.

We’ve baked muffins & cookies together.

He asks to help now and is interested in what’s happening in the kitchen

Take these hacks and try them out on your kiddos and let me know which one works best for your fam

And if you’re stumped on what to make that’ll work for everyone, DM me MAGIC to schedule your Mealtime Magic Intensive where we’ll plan out every detail to make mealtime work for your family AND YOU.

Just a reminder that you can feel comfortable in your post baby body NOW

You don’t have to wait until the scale cooperates and you drop those lbs of baby weight

I know you don’t recognize yourself when you look in the mirror and you’ll stand there picking apart every part of you that doesn’t look like it used to

The pressure to “bounce back” isn’t doing you any good

You felt like a superhero when your body literally created life.

Those first moments holding your baby, you were on top of the world, amazed at what you body could do

Where are those vibes for the body that’s feeding and caring for this tiny life that you created?

You’re spending so much time and mental energy on hating your body, when you would never want your little one or your bestie to treat themselves like that.

I know your pre-baby body feels so far away and getting back into shape feels like the most important thing right now

But there’s so many factors of mom life that impact your body that you can’t control

đŸš«How much sleep you get

đŸš«Breastfeeding or not

đŸš«Your hormones

đŸš«Your depleted micro nutrients from GROWING AN ENTIRE PERSON

đŸš«Any mental health medication you need to function

You can’t exercise or diet away any of those things, but that doesn’t mean you can’t feel better in your skin now.

Here’s 3 things you can do this week that will help you feel better about your mom bod:‹
Wear clothes that fit and you feel cute in . . . stop trying to stuff yourself into your old clothes.  They belong in the donation bin or at least under your bed, not taking up real estate in your closet

Eat your fruits & veggies & drink water . . . staying hydrated does wonders for your skin

Get outside for a walk . . . exercise gives you endorphins, endorphins make you happy & the sunshine will give you a mood boost too!

If you’re tired of just going through the motions and not feeling like yourself anymore, comment PEACE for access to the FREE mini series for the steps to taking care of yourself along with everyone else doesn’t take extra effort or a ton of time.

Aside from the obvious
 my toddler

Mostly it’s because I make myself a priority before having a clean house

My son comes first and then I come second
 then everything else

You can’t give 100% to everything

So I pick where my energy goes

And I know that investing time and energy into myself gives me more capacity to show up in other areas

Making sure I eat breakfast means I have energy to chase my toddler around all morning, get my workout in and tackle the 3 day old basket of laundry

Getting my workout in means the 15th tantrum of the day or another spill won’t make me lose my đŸ’©

Reading before bed instead of doom scrolling until midnight is a better way to unwind and ensure that I’m getting as much sleep as possible when nights of uninterrupted sleep are few and far between

Follow if you need a little help figuring out what “healthy” looks like with a mile long to-do list, no free time and the rest of the mental clutter that comes along with being the default parent

That’s what my page is all about helping you do!

I know it’ll happen one day

But I do think HOW I do grocery shopping with my toddler is why I’ve had such a good experience with this

Basically, I don’t do grocery shopping with my toddler

We do grocery pickup and then run in the things that I want to pick out myself or inevitably forget

Almost every store has this feature right now, so don’t sleep on it!

This way I’m in the store for 30 minutes instead of an hour plus

An hour is a long time for a toddler to be contained in a cart without getting cranky or wiggly

And too long to expect them to walk with you without wandering and resist touching all the things stores purposely put at their eye level

I also make sure I never go without snacks for little dude & something for him to do in the cart

On top of being a good fit for the age my son is now shopping this way helps me know exactly what I’m cooking, because I menu plan as I make my list

That means I don’t have food going to waste from buying random things because they’re on sale or impulse buys

And I know basically what I’m spending each and every time.

All this means that I’m setting my little guy up for success and myself up for a way less stressful shopping experience

What do you think about this grocery shopping hack?

And if you have a different chore or errand that you just DREAD doing with your toddler around, that’s the perfect topic for a strategy session with me!

I want you to be able to have the tools you need, so that you can seamlessly take care of yourself and your kiddos, whether that be:

Getting in your meal prep

Finally being able to workout even when the kids are home

Finding your groove under the overwhelming amount of things you need to do to keep your house & family functioning

DM me STRATEGY to set up a strategy session for only $99. In this hour, we audit your routine in any specific area that is a struggle right now. That could be meal prep, grocery shopping, laundry & housework or your workout routine.

You’ll get off the call knowing exactly what changes to make and how to implement them in a way that doesn’t take extra time and mental energy . . . cuz I know that’s in short supply right now.

If you’re getting frustrated that your toddler just WON’T leave you alone, chances are they’re maxed out on playing independently.

Switching careers from teaching to health & wellness coaching means I come with a wealth of child development knowledge.

This experience has been so amazing as I work with moms

I can support them on their personal wellness journey but also help them blend it seamlessly with their kid’s needs.

Because I understand how & why your chaos goblins are losing their minds at 5pm when you’re trying to cook dinner.

I love blending my child development background with my wellness coaching so I can help my mama clients put a easy, quick, healthy dinner on the table

AND tell them why their 2 year old won’t leave them alone to cook for more than 5 minutes

Help my mama clients get a workout in and keep their little ones entertained and off screens - if they want- during their workout

If you’re a mama who feels like your patience is always running out & you can’t find enough hours in a day to get it all done, DM me CHAOS so we can set up a Strategy Session.

A one time call to give you ALL THE DEETS on how to get back in shape as a toddler mom in a way that makes sense for your family.
