When I initially saw two pink lines, I wasn’t excited. I was terrified. In time, that fear turned into determination. I told myself that I would just study my way to becoming a “good” parent (as if that were thing) —an attempt to control the unknown so I could feel safe.
If I was going to be a mom, I was going to be the best.
But parenting doesn’t hand out gold stars.
It hands you a mirror.
I quickly realized I had just as much to unlearn as I had to learn.
My kids weren’t just stretching me—they were waking me up.
To my triggers. My past. My coping. My capacity.
And in that messy, humbling work of self-growth, I found something so much better than perfection: connection.
That journey changed everything—for me and for how I now support others.
✨ I’m a mom of four, an occupational therapist, and a certified conscious parenting coach.
I help parents move beyond quick-fix behavior strategies and into deep, sustainable connection—through emotional regulation, somatic tools, and self-awareness.
That means less yelling, more patience.
Less repeating, more collaboration.
More joy, less chaos.
Because parenting doesn’t start with a script.
It starts with us.
Welcome to Doing Better—a parenting community for those of us rewriting old patterns, raising whole humans, and choosing growth over perfection. 💛
