A fascinating new MTB ride in the Dona Ana trails of northern Los Cruces NM. Amazing rock formations creating variable trail riding skills form loose to garden to slab. All very cool and super fun on new S-Works Epic 8’s. Lynda named hers IndyGo and mine is called SkyWalker both for their super cool paint schemes. Lynda ended up getting a slash on rear tire, so we had a bit of a challenge getting back out, but ingenuity, perseverance and patience paid off.

Part of our travel adventure has been positioning ourselves in Yuma then walking across the border to Mexico to Los Algodones for a dental project that has been long overdue for me. Lynda had been my best supporter, chief of logistics and publicist. Today was the 2nd of 3 for this years trip and was a very long day. We will expand more on the eperience for those that are curious, but for now here is a picture of us in the US Customs line which was a 1.5 hour wait. Great shot of us and the Wall though:)

You learn a lot by getting to ride different trails in so many different places. Yesterday we rode the trail system near Yuma. It is like a rocky moonscape. It definitely challenges your ability to navigate what seems like riding on marbles. Challenging for sure but it makes you appreciate what you really like in MTB.
