Father’s Day poem (i wanted it to be like the poem for moms in despicable me movie and i used AI)

You’re the bestest, dad, no doubt,
Strong and kind and super stout.
You fix, you lift, you work, you play –
And tell bad jokes almost every day. 😆

Your beard is pokey, but hugs are sweet,
And your grilled steak just can’t be beat!
You teach us right, you guide with care,
And somehow, you’re always there.

You’re our anchor, brave, and grand —
Our real life, Superman on hand.
So here’s a hug and one more kiss…
We love you more than all of this!!!

Hey everybody! This is a pizza sandwich, yummy! Made by Me, SuperMav!!!
I wanted to share my ingredients with you.
1. Hawaiian rolls, slice in half
2. Spread pizza sauce on both sides
3. Cut your cheddar cheese in slices and make it into squares or rectangles and make them fit on the sandwich
4. Cut up your natural pepperonis into smaller pieces and scatter on the cheese…

Baked at 350 for about 8 mins!

I started making my own sandwiches for lunch this week and this is my specialty! I like bacon and pickles and cheese mixed together and a hulk smash on top! 💛🌟SuperMav

July 5th haircut & 6th baptism

“On July 5th I got my haircut for the first Time since it started growing back from chemo. I like having short hair, I realized.”

Mav was anxious to cut his hair. He knew he didn’t like the buzzing sound of the clippers… he was always upset to get haircuts. When his hair started falling out from the chemo, it was really itchy and the only thing we could do about it was cut it off, but he really did not seem to mind being bald at all!!! But when he grew it back he did become pretty attached to his hair. Mav would kind of hide behind his hair, it was a comfort for him.

Cutting it off was a big day for him (and honestly us too) his long hair represented a lot and also it was a beautiful red color with a natural curl. 😍But Getting his hair cut helped him become so much more confident and has really made his personality shine!

July 6th
“I got baptized! Yeah yeah! I loved that I got baptized, I know the church is true and that the Holy Ghost will help me do the right things and make the right choices.”

Maveriks baptism was perfect. Maverik loves learning about Jesus and he has such a genuine relationship with his Heavenly Father. He has the sweetest testimony for an 8 year old, he knows who he is, and he knows God hears him & loves him. We are so proud of this guy and who he is becoming. 💛

Hi guys! I finally went back to school yesterday.

Today, I did my own hair for the first time ever! 💛SuperMav

(Mom: he asked me to make it messy like we normally do right after this 😂)

Mom update: I’ve missed a few updates on here from the summer so you might see some of these later on, but here’s some highlights!
- SuperMav got his first haircut since shaving it all off during chemo 😍
- SuperMav got baptized!
- SuperMav started flag football, team Cowboys!
- SuperMav started 3rd grade!

This week would have been the 2nd week of school for him however, he started to seem pretty sick on Tuesday when he got home. He was super emotionally sensitive at school and later was super congested. They had no school scheduled on Friday and Monday for testing so, we kept him home Wed’s & Thurs of school, he’s been coughing up a lot if stuff since like Friday.
1 week in to school and we’re already sick. 😔

We already had his check up appt scheduled for today, so we just waited for the appt to take him in. His lab results were all good/healthy and he has no signs of fever so it seems like there’s not much anyone can really do. With just really sucks, Starting to feel like this is our normal. We take 1 step forward and then 2 steps backwards. (Especially since he was already sick right before school started) It’s so hard to know where to start these days. Anything new just seems like so much extra work. Seems like we’re off to a rocky start for the school year but hoping to see many positive outcomes this year! 🤞Josh Eden KaLisa Eden

SuperMav turned 8 this Easter weekend! 🥳
Celebrating SuperMav's 8th birthday in Las Vegas with family was incredible! It was so uplifting to see him enjoy his birthday without any treatment worries. His growth and development in such a short amount of time has been remarkable - he's become more social, energetic, and confident.

He is so excited to try all the “new” things and get caught back up from the things he‘s missed. Starting with gymnastics, reading chapter books, and even running around at gym and recess. We can't wait to see him continue exploring new hobbies and interests. We are so proud of who he is becoming and the positive kid he has continued to be.

Hey guys! Sorry I haven’t been checking in. I have been sick so I haven’t checked in to see what people are up to. 💛 SuperMav

Mom: Mav woke up Sunday night with a fever eyes Are tired and glossy and now energy. We took him to see his dr on Monday, where they did a Covid and strep test… He has Neither thankfully! But He does have Influenza A.

We are all feeling some type of sick so we are all just resting as much as we can.

I am thankful for all the people that supported me and were nice and said good things about me. So I made this heart in minecraft out of tnt blocks because I love you all so much.
