I’m tired y’all. I’m tired of working so hard to stay alive in this world where all the majority outlets tell me and those like me we should be dead. And I am TIRED OF LOSING babies. The teens. The ones I’m supposed to pass this work and service and community to. I’m just tired! Just so damn tired.

Yup. There are a handful of Doritos. That’s my treat.
My compromise.
For the tomatoes.
For the edamame.’
For the 2 piece of lite cheese that are broken down so small that it’s a treat that is savored.

Having been raised as a Cuban oldest daughter, my weight has been subjected to a very distorted relationship with food. Since the age of 5, I was on a diet or some kind of food plan.

To ensure I had a good chance to land a “good man” among all the other voices.
Day in..
Day out…
And you know what I tell my clients? The beautiful souls who bare it all in front of me?
“You see this body? This temple? I went from Mama Gaia to Papa Buddha. I worked hard to navigate this world, so yes. I claim that I am doing my best with the physical vessel I navigate this world in. I earned every scar, tattoo, wrinkle and grey hair.

And today I claim the growth on me by making different choices. It may not be a big deal in your personal framework, that’s cool. And I will also invite you to consider which choices in your life this is becoming more clear. And which areas you could claim as deep growth?!

Today, Im claiming my healthier choices to nourish my body and meet my needs. Yup.
