Last Saturday, we celebrated! We had a day filled with fun and love. Treatment is done, and Aubree won. We are so happy to close this chapter! Stay tuned to see what the future holds for our warrior princess! I wish he had more pictures of her on this special day, but she was having too much fun to slow down! Thank you to everyone that has supported Bree Bree and her family I've the last 2 and a half years. Words really can't express how loved we have felt.

Today was the day!! Aubree took her last dose of chemotherapy! 821 days of treatment and she has finally reached the finish line! All that's left is to ring the bell next Wednesday. This little girl has been nothing but brave through the entire ordeal, and we could not be more proud! They spent the day in Galveston seeing the sights and took her last dose at the beach, because it's her favorite place to be. We are so happy for Bree Bree and her family. Nothing but good vibes going forward ❤️🎗️❤️🎗️❤️🎗️❤️🎗️❤️

Aubree has a lumbar puncture scheduled for tomorrow. She's at an age where she’s starting to understand what’s happening, so preparing her for these appointments is becoming more challenging. Fortunately, we don’t have many left. Please keep Bree Bree in your thoughts and prayers for a safe procedure and good results 🎗🙏

Aubree has been doing so good lately! She has been super happy and full of energy. Thank you everyone for all the prayers to get us this far ❤️

She has a clinic visit today for a quick port flush. We now only have one clinic visit a month until her EOT in May of 2025.

We also picked up a cat from the Houston SPCA and Aubree has been so in love with her ❤️

WE MADE IT TO THE HALFWAY POINT! 410 days down, 410 to go until end of treatment! We were supposed to celebrate with a playdate with all of Bree's cousins, but it wasn't in the cards. She started running fever yesterday, so off to the ER they went, then she was admitted. She has been given fluids, antibiotics and Motrin, and her fever temperature seems more controlled, but her heart rate keeps spiking into the 130s, and they don't want to send her home until she can maintain under 120. Hopefully just one more night of monitoring and she will get to go home tomorrow. We will just postpone the celebration for a few days. 💗🎗️💗

3/13 UPDATE. An ultrasound was done this morning. The good news is her pancreatitis has not gotten worse, bad news it hasn't really improved. She is getting her appetite back, which is good, but because of her condition, she is on clear liquids only, and she wants pizza. 😢 Looks like she will remain inpatient for a few more days, and the days are getting long. Her Amazon wishlist has been updated, so if you want to send her a little pick me up, here I the link. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/28Q38UGY93APR?ref_=wl_share

3/12 update: nothing has really changed. They are going to try to change her morphine from every 4 hours to every 6 and see how she responds. Everytime she starts waking up, she says her tummy hurts. This is day 3 with no food. Hopefully this clears up soon. 🙏🎗️🙏

3/11 UPDATE. Bree was transmitted to Texas Children's Woodlands campus. She is still still receiving morphine for the pain. She was elevated from NPO to having water and juice. We are waiting for the doctor to make rounds and give us more information.

UPDATE: Bree has been given several rounds of morphine for her pain. She's been vomiting and can't keep anything down. They are pushing IV fluids and she's on a 24 hr food/drink hold. She's been in and out of sleep since given the morphine. There is currently no "fix" for pancreatitis but letting the tummy "rest" and treating the symptoms. We are still in the ER waiting for a room 🙄 hopefully we will be able to get a better room where we can all sleep. We will update when we have more information.

Bree woke up around 3am wanting a snack. shortly after she began to have extreme belly pain coming and going. This went on for about two hours. We made a call to her on call oncologist and they told us to bring her in to the ER. Unfortunately we just got the results back and she's developed pancreatitis. We will update here when we get more information.
