Tips for healing rosacea with cream🧴

1. Choose barrier creams.
Look for creams containing ceramides, squalane or niacinamide, as these strengthen the skin barrier and reduce flare-ups.

2. Always choose fragrance-free products.
Fragrance is a common trigger. Pick simple, hypoallergenic formulas to avoid irritation.

3. Keep it cool.
Store your cream in the fridge!

4. Apply to damp skin.
After cleansing, apply the cream while your skin is still slightly damp to lock in hydration and prevent dryness.

5. Skip heavy oils.
Rich or pore-clogging creams containing mineral oil or lanolin can worsen rosacea. Stick to lightweight, non-comedogenic formulas.

Pro tip: Apply a calming cream under your SPF every morning, it's your best defence against flare-ups.💛

Pumpkin for healing rosacea 🎃✨

1. Pumpkin mask.
Mix 1 tablespoon of pumpkin purée with 1 teaspoon of honey. Leave on for 10 minutes to calm redness and gently nourish the skin.

2. Pumpkin seeds:
Snack on zinc-rich pumpkin seeds! Zinc can help to support skin repair and reduce rosacea flare-ups.

3. Pumpkin smoothie:
Blend pumpkin with almond milk and cinnamon to boost your intake of vitamin A and antioxidants, which have anti-inflammatory properties.

4. Pumpkin oil spot care:
Dab a drop of cold-pressed pumpkin seed oil on dry or red patches to restore the skin barrier thanks to its essential fatty acids.

5. Avoid over-exfoliation.
Pumpkin enzymes are popular in skincare products, but strong enzyme peels can trigger rosacea. Stick to gentle, soothing methods, such as DIY masks made with food-grade pumpkin.
