If you’re living with diabetes, knowing about your kidney function is key. Kidney disease is a common complication of diabetes and can raise the risk of heart disease. Your body sends signals when it’s not getting enough good fats. ⁣⁣⁣

That’s because the body uses the fat you eat to build cell walls. ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
You have more than 10 trillion cells in your body, and every single one of them needs high-quality fat.⁣

The higher quality the fat you eat, the better your brain will function. ⁣

I eat fat with every meal, and I’ve never felt better. The right fats can improve your mood, skin, hair, and nails, while protecting you against Type 2 diabetes, dementia, cancer, and much more.⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Among my favorite sources of fat include:⁣⁣⁣
Avocados⁣⁣⁣
Nuts & seeds⁣⁣⁣
Fatty fish that are rich in omega-3 fats⁣⁣⁣
Extra virgin olive oil ⁣⁣⁣
Grass-fed or sustainably raised animal products

❓ Do you know the 4Ts of Type1Diabetes? They are: Toilet (needing a wee more), Thirsty, Tired and Thinner.

Knowing the symptoms is so important to prevent Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA), which happens when there’s a severe lack of insulin in the body - so it can happen if type 1 diabetes isn't spotted early.

📢 If you’re already familiar with the 4Ts, will you share this post to make sure more people know the signs of type 1 diabetes?
