About scans: it is often the case that a CT scan (usually bulk billed) will not show the same things that an MRI (usually not bulk billed) does. That is because CTs show bones well whereas MRIs show bones, soft tissues and basically everything very well. In my experience it's generally much less hassle for everyone if you just fork out the extra and get an MRI scan done if I am oganising claims for you because it will show everything - bones, ligaments, cartilage, the lot. You can (usually) claim it back from DVA (please let me know if your experience is different).
