If you're taking the baby for any vaccination especially subcutaneous vacine injection (injection that requires thighs or shoulder). Wear the baby light material, not heavy or tight clothes. Don't give the baby paracetamol before going. When you're done, cuddle the baby, don't back the baby on your back, carry the baby on your shoulder, not even a baby carrier.
You can lie the baby down in the car if you went with a car. Remove diaper or wear the diaper in a way it's very very loose on the baby waist and thigh.
This is to enable proper flow of bl@ without any obstructions from tight clothes or diaper.
Bath the baby with warm water, apply ice on the injected site if available, if not available, leave the baby but don't massage or rub the injected site. Give the baby paracetamol after.
Allow the baby to rest with free diaper and cloth.
