The 2025 version of the Fibroid Bill is being reintroduced this month, and we’re showing up to make sure Congress pays attention. 🗣️

On July 23rd, join the Fibroid Foundation community on Capitol Hill for a powerful day of advocacy, visibility, and action.

We’ll meet with lawmakers, share our stories, and appeal for real support for the millions of women affected by fibroids.

Hysterectomy can be a life-changing and empowering choice, but for too many women with fibroids, it’s offered as the only one.

Research suggests that up to 70% of hysterectomies may be unnecessary, with fibroids being the leading cause of the procedure in the U.S. That means thousands of women may be losing their uterus without ever learning about alternatives that they may be a candidate for.

At The Fibroid Foundation, we’re committed to changing that. We’re focused on educating the medical community so that every person with fibroids is given the chance to make a fully informed decision - one that reflects their goals, values, and reproductive plans.

We’re heading back to Capitol Hill to talk about menstrual health!

Mark your calendars - our annual Congressional Briefing on Menstrual Health is happening on May 14th at 3 PM in the Rayburn House Office Building. This annual briefing is part of National Menstrual Health Awareness Month and will feature powerful voices, including menstrual health advocates and congressional representatives dedicated to improving menstrual health for all.
