🐉 Long Post Warning 🐉

So it has been almost a year since I posted on here and needless to say, it’s for good reason.

My life is not what it should be and I am not the person I should be. Since I can remember, I have lived and acted in a certain way. Despite my bad choices, the way I’ve manipulated people and situations, I continued with it because I was either too scared to face my own truth or too lazy to even attempt change.

I am now at a point in my life where I am in need of a full reset. I don’t really know who I am or what my truth is but two days ago I experienced the worst moment of my life. From that, I spent time being truthful with myself about the emotions and habits that I was avoiding. I’m not afraid to say that I wept and my heart released years of shame, deceit, pain and loss.

In that moment I searched for light, I prayed and I was shown two constants. My wife and dragons.

I don’t deserve remorse or pity. But I can truthfully say that I am now not afraid of dealing with the mess I have caused, the people I have hurt and the steps that need to be taken to become my true self.

Part of my truth now is about being open and clear with who I really am and who I want to be. The dragons will help I’m sure. But now is my time to right my wrongs and mend that which seemingly cannot be fixed.

To anyone I’ve caused discomfort and anger, please know how sincerely sorry I am. Please know that I’ll be in touch with you. If you don’t want contact, I understand.

But I will try. I have to.

As someone said to me today, I’m in my butterfly soup phase. Time to grow.

Hope Theia Totton arrived on 12.12.2023 and we have been all systems go since then!

This experience has been significantly different to the one Helen and I experienced with our beautiful Emilia. The home environment coupled with research and the courage to stand by our choices provided us both with a birth that will live with us forever as a positive example of strength and growth. Helen was unbelievable and my admiration, respect and love for her has only solidified seeing her deliver Hope with such grace and love.

Our family of 3 is now a family of 4 which means our hearts have grown and allow us to operate with even more love.

Christmas to me has always meant so much. I appreciate that not everyone will agree with me but i want to express my thoughts.

A time where giving is the norm. A time where we are pushed to believe. A time where magic is at the forefront and a time where loved ones are appreciated most, whether that’s family or otherwise.

A couple of years ago, I delved back into children’s literature and produced this brain child. It’s a warm tale of love, acceptance and the magic that surrounds us this time of year.

Progress is extremely hard. It’s even harder when you know the answer lies within you.

I know there is still a lot of work to do, but I am committed and open to showing the world my authentic self.

This photo is why I am working on myself. Not just for my incomparable wife and daughter but for myself.
