Round 4 done, 2 more to go! Had a scare this week; ultrasound reported tumor growth. Thought I’d have to stop chemo and go right to surgery. However, my fabulous breast doctor came in to see me despite being on a staycation. She repeated the ultrasound and completed an exam to find that the ultrasound tech measured breast clips and the gelatin material they contain, and not the tumors. She said there was no distinct tumors visible at this time, only some ductal dilation and shadowing. She gave me the go ahead to finish chemo as it working as expected!! I will still need surgery after chemo, but I might have more options since the chemo is working so well. Thanks for all your support and prayers!!
