Dinner tonight was delish…..roasted brussels in 100% maple syrup, salt and pepper. Yukon Gold potatoes made with almond milk, and an apple. The brussel sprouts were so good, and the mashed potatoes….you could not tell they were made with almond milk.

Small victories are major victories for me. Wednesday night, Faith went to the pumpkin patch and came home with a six pack of apple cider donuts to share with the family. This morning Kayla put one on a plate and took a couple of bites and then ran out to catch her bus. In my old life I would’ve eaten that doughnut however this morning I put it back in the package for her to finish when she came home from school. Instead I’m sitting down with a 16 ounce glass of lemon water to start my day... Big victory….

Dinner tonight….Romaine salad with avocado amd grapefruit, with a little salt and pepper, and the juice from the grapefruit as a dressing. Vegetables with guacamole dip, and a bowl of pineapple! Yum!!!!
