It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

Chive blossom 🌸 vinegar is one of my absolutely favorite things to make. This magic elixir is something that I love to have in my cabinet all summer long to add to salads, roasted vegetables, and inside of dips.

Foods loaded with nutrients to maximize your potential for complete absorption.

Recently I participated in a 21-day cleanse. I hated it. I was hungry, not satiated, and craved foods I normally don't crave. I am a “hormone girly” who is always focused on balancing the relationship between the 3 Queens. 👑Cortisol. 👑Insulin. & 👑Estrogen. I stuck with the cleanse, completed it, and was very excited to “slowly bring some of my favorite staples” back into my diet. So I did.

I have had two cycles since my cleanse. (Kinda TMI I know) The first one immediately after was smoooooth sailing ⛵. The second.. woof! 2.5-3 weeks after bringing back every “bad” food I had previously restricted I noticed it had the most massive effect on my HORMONES.

My second cycle was loaded with PMS symptoms. Ones I haven't seen in months, and certainly not all at once.

FOOD IS MEDICINE.

The moral of the story the foundation of balanced hormones is a clean, nutrient-dense, whole-food nutrition plan.

The revelation I constantly am reminded about is you can't outsupplement a bad diet. You can't take hormone-balancing supplements and drink a latte each morning.
