Did you know you can use the peel from citrus fruits like oranges, lemons, limes to make colourful shapes for threading, sensory and loose parts play. They smell lovely, make fun christmas decorations and are a great way to use up peel leftover from eating or baking. Fantastic explanation of different meditation styles.
Body scan meditation is definitely a favourite of mine and works so well with adults and kids I have worked with. If you ever fancy giving it a try, let me know and we can arrange an appointment.

Fellow parents…I’m needing bit of advice….

I’m starting up a weekly mindfulness and meditation group for kids.
I have the venue and they have offered me any weekday I want. All great but issue is what day/time should I choose?
I was initially thinking Fridays as kids are half day but do I do straight after school finished or let kids go home for lunch first, then back out?
Generally are Fridays really good days? I got told recently that kids are too tired at end of week so wouldn’t get anyone but thought this would be good way for them to unwind after a busy week.

Any suggestions would be greatly received!!
