What Consistency Really Looks Like
I've had this chat with 3 clients already this week so thought I'd share here too👇
We talk a lot about consistency in training, in nutrition, in showing up for yourself. But here’s the truth:
I think people get consistency and perfection confused.
Consistency isn't 100% every day. It’s not hitting every workout, nailing every meal, hitting your step target every single day.
Some weeks you’ll be flying. Things will feel easy, you'll have lots of energy.
Other weeks? Life happens. You might have a crazy work week or be juggling more with the kids. Or both. These weeks are going to happen and you'll have more like 30% to give rather than 90-100%.
And guess what?
That’s still consistency.
You're showing up in some way, even if it's a walk instead of a gym session, you're drinking enough water or getting your 5 portions of fruit & veg.
It's all part of the journey and this isn't a sprint.
Long-term consistency means riding the waves, giving 100% when you can and your 30% on the week you only have 30%.
