Scribing WFH

Scribing WFH I created this page because I didnt realize how much interest there would be!

This is the basic timeline of the trainings after the Scribe 101 trainings.
1) You will complete Scribe 101

2) You will be contacted via email to set up a phone interview. (This is a basic why are you interested, what is your availability, type of interview) Dont panic...I cried during mine because I got talking about my dad and they hired me lol.

3) you will get a lot of emails to set up trainings and create log ins and it does feel overwhelming but please do not hesitate to reach out to me and I will help you through it.

4) you will get to pick days and times to attend the online classes. Theyre typically no more than 2 hours long. There is a quiz after the class, dont panic I have tips and tricks to get you through that, I suck at taking tests.

5) once you complete the classes you will sign up for the final exam. Again, dont panic! I am more than happy to help and have tips and tricks for that too.

6) after you pass that exam, the instructor will send your manager an email letting them know you are ready to begin clinical trainings. You will also be given log in information for EPIC the medical chart program we use. You will be able to go into a "playground " to play around and get familiar. You will have another trainer specifically for Epic that will be in touch and answer any questions about EPIC and show you the basics. When theyre done you will get your official log ins. This is a medical chart and very sensitive information so make sure you guard the log in information and protect it.

7) you will be set up with a trainer, you will get to just watch with a screenshare at first and will slowly get to do some things yourself then eventually will be doing it on your own with no problems. It seems like a lot but it is like riding a bike...

8) Once you're on you're own you and the dr get to work together and they will tell you if theres something they want a specific way, theyre all nice and patient and to be honest just thankful for the help! They get to spend more time taking care of patients and less time sitting at a computer, doing paperwork, trying to remember what patient got what treatment.

9) You will have a regular manager that you can ask questions to and reach out to. We just started a new team thing and have a group chat with each team so other scribes are there for questions as well. Once youre good to go, you can reach out to your friends or family too and get bonuses for referring people.

As always if i can help in any way let me know :) This is a great way to make some extra spending money or a Christmas fund, maybe that vacation find or home repair fund you need... Ft and PT available theyre flexible to your schedule. There is always work.
