Leave no stone unturned. This expression reminds me of my third life pillar.
Die Empty.
I often wonder, “What else did they want to be, do, have, and give?”
I'm talking about my deceased father, Sam and only sibling, older brother Sam, Jr.
I write this in August when Sam, Jr. was born and Sam, Sr. died.
My 5 Life Pillars to Live By began when I spoke at Sam’s life celebration five years ago. I have shared Be Intentional and Show Up. This third one, Die Empty, came from the late Dr. Myles Munroe.
Each of us was born with a blueprint inside on what we are supposed to do here in the earth during our lifetime. Like an architect, we must be able to read it and then find the necessary resources to build it fully.
Purpose. Calling. Destiny. It is in you waiting to be revealed.
Intention is not enough. Potential is not enough. Whatever God put you on this earth to do, take action and just do it!
Die Empty—that resonated. The vision and dreams you want to complete in your lifetime—go for it! Birth them all! I've always said, “Time passes whether you do something or not.”
The world awaits your genius. The world awaits your contribution. No one can do it like you!
So why wait? Why not go for it?
Fulfilling the call while being fulfilled.
What Jesus said in John 17:4 is my prayer, “I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do.” I thank God for His grace and patience with me!
I wonder about my dad and brother, “What else did they want to be, do, have, and give?”
I won't have to wonder about me.
Die Empty.
