Earlier this week we turned back the clock. ⏰🍑

Apricot chicken was on the menu in the Toora Women kitchen — the kind your mum (or grandma) probably made in the 80s or 90s — sticky, sweet, savoury and full of comfort. We served it up with steamed broccolini and Mediterranean cous cous, and let’s just say… there weren’t many leftovers.

But it’s never just about the food.

These classes are about learning skills that build confidence and transfer into real kitchens.

Every dice, every stir, every plate up builds something bigger than dinner.

Nostalgic flavours. Real skills. Real connection.

And yes — apricot chicken still absolutely slaps. 💛

In 2025, Embrace Disability Group lost a major government contract. For a social enterprise, that doesn’t just impact revenue — it impacts people.
