How to Relieve Knee Pain
1. Early Treatment
If you face pain or minor injuries to the knee during sports or in daily activities, you are encouraged to try the RICE method as an initial treatment to relieve knee pain.
Rest / Rehat
Take a break or stop from the activity. Protect the aching physical part
Ice / Ais
Ice can relieve swelling and pain. Place a lump or ice pack on the injured part for 10-20 minutes, 3 times a day.
Compression / Pressure
Apply Elastic Bandage on the injured part. This bandage will reduce the effects of swelling and pain on the part. Make sure the Elastic Bandage is not worn too tightly.
Elevation / Elevate
The injured or sore side of the leg is elevated slightly at rest. Can use a pillow or low bench to elevate the sore part.
