Truth is… It's Not About You!

Have you ever felt that life was hitting you with several blows all at once? Does it seem like the enemy only has your address, telephone number, email, and social media links? Does it seem like people, places or things are tap dancing on your last good nerve?

What on earth did I do to deserve this much stress? But guess what It is NOT About You!
God created each of us for Him purpose! Once we realize God’s purpose for our life and begin to passionately pursue that purpose, we become the enemy’s worst enemy!

Never take the attack from the enemy personally. Why? Because it's not about you! Just as God knows the plans for your life so does the enemy. God wants you to grow and flourish for His kingdom sake. The enemy wants the God in you to die and wants you to feel hopeless and depressed, alone, rejected, and insecure. Therefore, trying to get you to aborting the plans God has for your life.

Use God’s word to rebuke the enemy!

Isaiah 54:17 “No weapon that is formed against me or you shall prosper.”

1John 4:4 (b) portion says, "greater is he that is within you than he that is within the world."

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”

The enemy sees the gifting in you and knows if you ever reach your full potential in Christ you will horrify him, and impact some one else’s life for God’s glory. Well, horrify the enemy. Stay Focused! God could be using you to be the example for perseverance, a Godly walk, how to love one another, patience, mercy, etc. So it’s not about you but God’s will through you!

So remember when you are faced with attacks, it's not about you. Stay Focus on God’s plans for your life! Allow God’s will to be done in your life! It’s Not about you!

Prayer: God help me to focus on your purpose and plans. When trails come my way to distract me, allow me to recognize the distraction and smile my way through staying focused knowing, that It’s not about me but it is about your purpose being fulfilled. Life gets rough sometimes but I will trust you through it all! In Jesus name! Amen!
