2025! This year I’m not making any resolutions about achieving external goals or accomplishments, but promising to really tap in to being my most authentic self. For me this means, working on self awareness, healthy boundaries, self compassion, rest and rejuvenation, connection and personal growth. I think the core of being yourself is trying to find a balance between honouring your needs and being gentle with yourself through the ups and downs. Bring it 2025, I’m ready!!

A big shout out to Natural Life Osteopathic & Wellness! Natural Life has been a long-time community partner of Maternal Health Niagara.

Recognizing the importance of mind-body healing, Natural Life offers Osteopathy and Massage Therapy. The clinic is especially interested in supporting parents, infants, and children. They create an inclusive and welcoming environment to allow healing at the body level.

Currently, they are available for new referrals for RMT services with Melissa.

Natural Life has also utilized grassroots efforts to connect the community. During the pandemic, they used community engagement so that even when people felt alone, they knew a wellness community was around them.

In addition, Natural Life walks the walk in supporting perinatal mental health. They were proud supporters of Flora's Walk!

It may just look like a door…. But it’s really the beginning of a healing journey. I was reflecting on all the things I’m thankful for this past weekend and I realized I never acknowledged my anniversary of being an RMT in August. I’ve been so fortunate to be doing this for the last 17 years. I’m so thankful for every person who has crossed my path, come through the door and laid on my massage table. Thank you for sharing your stories, your experiences and for allowing me to be a part of your life in ways big and small. I’m grateful I’ve been able to connect with people and help them relax, heal, and step out of the treatment room better than they were when they walked in. So it may just look like a door, but really it’s the just the first step to wellness. Thanks for letting me be a part of the journey.
And If we haven’t met yet, I’m looking forward to seeing what that journey looks like for you.
