For the last several years, Lungs&You®* has served as a trusted online resource for people living with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), a common type of interstitial lung disease (ILD). Today, our mission is to:
Educate—We aim to help those impacted by ILD with worsening fibrosis understand the disease so they can spot early indications of ILD and make informed decisions about their health. Empower—We want to help those diagnosed with a chronic ILD with worsening fibrosis take an active role in their care by learning about their disease, their management options, and how to advocate for their health. Support—We know that ILD with worsening fibrosis impacts more than just physical health. We want to help provide the emotional and practical support needed to overcome the challenges of living with ILD. Advocate—Through our partnerships with ILD advocates like Bernie Williams, we aim to raise awareness of chronic ILD with worsening fibrosis.
